In July, the WCS retail store will be moving into Ladner Village, at 4930 Elliot Street. The Delta Museum and Archives were kind enough to supply a couple of photos of the building that was once known as Jordan’s Stables, and later (to Ladnerites) simply as Magee’s.
This first shot, taken in 1902, shows Joe Jordan’s Livery Stables as it was only a couple of years after construction. The building was built circa 1900, but no exact date is on file.

Note: Our warehouse will remain at 3925 64th Street, but our retail store is now closed. You can still drop by the warehouse to pick up seeds, equipment, and the rest, and our offices are still open Monday to Saturday. We will announce the grand opening of the new store shortly. We’re hoping for July 15th – stay tuned!
